The first records I remember listening to as I was growing up on the new credit reserve were my mother's Hank Williams and Ray Charles l.p.s. To this day they are still my favorites because of the timeless honesty of their soulful heartfelt songs. So now after thirty years of performing all types of music, from Blues to Country and Rock to Pop, I have no need of desire to compete with todays 'Young Country'.

With the much appreciated help from the legendary Stompin' Tom Connors and his son Tom Connors Jr., me and the boys have tried to put together an album which captures the genuine qualities that I loved about those old Hank and Ray records. In our humble attempt I pray that we stayed "True To Form".
